What a very nice motel with a great big long porch with comfortable chairs overlooking Lake Huron and Mackinac Island. The motel sits up on the hill which gives a spectacular view of Lake Huron and the sun rise is just amazing in the morning coming over Lake Huron. Rooms are very clean and newly remodeled. The owner and housekeeper were extremely friendly and went above and beyond making sure are stay was the very best. Right next to downtown St. Ignace and Lighthouse. Great Views, Great Service, Great Price. Friendly New Owner and Staff. Best place to stay in St. Ignace.

Amazing view, best location (ferry to Mackinac Island across street) a park across street did live music & movies at night. Restaurants in walking distance. Owned by Dave who couldn’t be friendlier. Cute clean room, comfy beds! Chairs out front to relax & enjoy the view. So happy we chose this hotel! Thank you Moran Bay for the wonderful 2 days we spent at your home. You definitely made it feel a home for 2 tired travelers!

Interactions with the reception were incredibly pleasant and felt very welcomed. Provided with everything that I needed for my nights here while visiting the island, at an incredibly affordable price. Coffee and cookies were a nice pick-me up in the afternoon. Would definitely recommend again to anyone and would visit again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here a few nights. We got into town early and was able to check in early to get some rest. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. Had a great view of the lake and lighthouse. Owners were very kind and accommodating. We both enjoyed our stay very much.
